Absolute “good wine”, by “eldiario.es”

Once again our wine does not stop surprising locals and strangers. On this occasion, the digital newspaper “eldiario.es” published an article where it valued 9 Valdepeñas wines, both belonging to the DO and family wineries, with a higher quality at a price lower than € 13.00 / bottle .

Advice was sought from Belén García Castro, sommelier and maitre d at Mesón Octavio in Ciudad Real, where a few wines were tasted along with her splendid menu, to help us choose ten of her favorites. A top nine that has surprised us by the extraordinary value for money.

Absolute “good wine”

Among the nine chosen, with the highest rating and, of course, with the highest value, our Oretano wine stood out, whose comment was the following:
