The voice of Oretania

On the occasion of the LXVI Edition of the Valdepeñas Harvest and Wine Festivities – 2019, and within the programming of cultural activities, a unique multimedia show took place under the title “La voz de Oretania”.

The Plaza de España hosted this Wednesday the official inauguration of the Oretania Project, promoted among others, by one of the partners of Bodegas La Encomienda (José López de Lerma). Within the framework of the Harvest and Wine Festivities, a multimedia show, an Iberian recreation and an audiovisual “La Voz de Oretania” were held, to close the event, all attendees had the opportunity to toast with wine Oretano from said winery that collaborated in sponsoring the event.

But what really is The Voice of Oretania?

This initiative, from the Oretania Project, aims, based on the historical and cultural link of our ancestral past, to unite the half million people who live the 66 towns of the province of Ciudad Real and that make up the old oretania, in a common development project set. Using this nexus as a common thread and glue.

At Vinos La Encomienda, we support and subscribe to this initiative, which reinforces the philosophy and values that underpin our project, as reflected and defined in our slogan.
